About Chand Mera Dil
Think of Chand Mera Dil as one of those warm, slightly messy love stories that stick with you. It follows Aarav and Chandni, who meet on day one of engineering college—Aarav gets smitten watching Chandni’s dance at orientation. Friends turn into young love, and soon life throws them a big challenge: an unplanned pregnancy.

They choose to keep the baby and marry young, supported by close friends but facing pushback from family. The film doesn’t sugarcoat the aftermath—there’s financial stress, the chaos of parenting, and a painful incident that pushes Chandni to leave for her own and her daughter Kavya’s safety. Years later, destiny nudges them back together and the story asks whether love can really heal after time and hurt.
Directed by Vivek Soni and produced by Dharma Productions, Chand Mera Dil resonated because it’s rooted in real problems young couples face, not just rom-com fantasy. The soundtrack by Sachin-Jigar with Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics adds a lot of heart, and viewers praised the leads’ chemistry and the believable family moments. Critics gave it decent reviews for being authentic and emotionally grounded.
Ananya Panday plays Chandni Prasad and Lakshya is Aarav Rawat. The cast also includes Aastha Singh, Paresh Pahuja, Manish Chaudhari, Iravati Harshe, Charu Shankar, Atul Kumar, Akhil Kaimal and Samaira Pawar — a strong supporting lineup that brings the small moments to life.
Ananya said she’s thrilled the film has found a new home on JioHotstar and hopes more people connect with Chandni and Aarav’s story during their next movie night. Lakshya called it the kind of film that stays with you after the credits and hoped couples and families would enjoy watching it together.
