Haiwaan Teaser: It’s Akshay Kumar Vs Saif Ali Khan In A Dark Thriller

Haiwaan Teaser Released

If you’re a fan of thrillers, the Haiwaan teaser has already hit right where it counts. Without a single line of dialogue, this 48-second clip creates so much suspense that you’ll want to watch it again and again. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film brings Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan together on screen for the first time in 18 years, and the chemistry between them is something you don’t want to miss.

Haiwaan Teaser Breakdown

The teaser opens with moody, shadowy visuals where Saif Ali Khan is introduced as a blind man. He uses a stick to navigate his surroundings, and every move he makes feels loaded with mystery. Slowly, the camera shifts to Akshay Kumar, who appears in a dark, menacing avatar. In one scene, he’s standing near a flame, holding a large Christian cross, hinting at the complexity of his character.

There are more chilling moments in the teaser—a bloodied hand in a dark alley, someone adjusting a luxury wristwatch, and papers or money fluttering down from a high-rise building. Towards the end, a hand presses against a glass surface, and the title Haiwaan flashes in bold red letters. The entire teaser is set to a spooky background score that tells you a lot without saying a single word.

Akshay Kumar shared the teaser on X (Twitter) with a powerful caption: “HE hears the danger…I AM the danger! Ab jeet kiski hogi? Hero ya Haiwaan?” This line alone tells you that the film will have strong moral ambiguity. According to reports, Saif is playing the protagonist while Akshay is stepping into the shoes of the antagonist or villain.

Saif’s character as a blind musician is already sparking curiosity. Is he truly helpless, or is there more to his story? This question has only grown stronger after watching the teaser.
