Story & Screenplay
Naresh Kathooria has written the story of the movie in an apt manner that resonates with the quirky-dramatic theme of the original Carry On Jatta films. The movie’s story revolves around a funny chaos that has been created due to a romantic affair between Gippy Grewal and Sargun Mehta. What happens in between, and what drama unfolds, is what the movie is all about. Yes, the story is simple and predictable at times, which you expect from Carry On Jatta films. But what makes this simple story a laughter riot is its perfectly executed screenplay.

Acting & Performances
When a movie boasts such a talented and experienced cast, is there any point in talking about the acting? Yet, the bond between Gippy Grewal and Binnu Dhillon is the soul of the movie. As always, Sargun Mehta has proved why she is one of the biggest stars in the Punjabi film industry.
The wit Gurpreet Ghuggi pulls off with ease is commendable, and that’s why you always want to see him on screen. Also, Karamjit Anmol was so good to watch, but he should have had more screen time. Sweetaj Brar and Jasmine Bajwa have done justice to their roles with so much grace. Pukhraj Bhalla, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, and BN Sharma also played their part so well. Songs & Music
Carry On Jatta 4 is probably the best music album among all the Punjabi movies released in 2026. ‘Kaun Langeya’, ‘Raatan Kaaliyaan’ & The Title Track are a treat to listen to. But our favourite among these is ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, what a melodious and soothing track this is. Happy Raikoti has poured his heart out onto paper, while the music of Jatinder Shah does the rest of the job of winning hearts.
Final Verdict
Overall, Carry On Jatta 4 is exactly like what you may have expected: a proper rib-tickling laughter riot that leaves no scope for you to feel unentertained. The use of AI to give tribute to the actor who was one of the most integral parts of the franchise is something that needs to be appreciated and cherished by watching the film in the theatres only.
