Recently, Salman Khan joined hands with the creators of The Family Man series, Raj and DK. But this is not the only collaboration Salman is eyeing. The Dabangg actor is reportedly in talks with Farhan Akhtar for a new historical drama film.

As per the reports by Pinkvilla, Salman is currently in talks with actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar for a large-scale historical epic drama. According to sources, the convo between Salman and Farhan is likely to be in a positive way. Sources revealed that the conversations have been ongoing for over a month. From Salman’s side, he is supposed to collaborate with Farhan on the historical drama rooted in prominent historical character from Indian history.
According to Pinkvilla, Salman and Farhan have been meeting regularly for the last few months, and they are keen to work together. While the conversation is still ongoing and has not reached the stage of paperwork. If both parties come together, it could become one of the most significant films for Salman’s career. The film project is said to be a big-budget, large-scale epic historical drama, and the plot is designed to tell the tale in 2 parts.
The project is supposedly to be produced under the banners of Excel Entertainments by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Well, hopefully everything goes without any setbacks; the film will probably begin in the summer of 2027.
