Bollywood’s sweetest couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, are taking the lead on screen, but off-screen they both excellently played the role of Parents. Both Deepika and Ranveer mastered the art of Parenting by raising their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, despite having tight film project schedules.
Deepika Padukone’s father and badminton legend Prakash Padukone appreciates the couple’s teamwork in raising their child. In recent interviews, Prakash Padukone expressed the joy of becoming a grandfather and how Ranveer and Deepika raise their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh.

In an interview with Indian Express, Prakash Padukone appreciated his son-in-law Ranveer Singh and Daughter Deepika for how responsibly committed towards their granddaughter Dua Padukone Singh, who was welcomed into the world in September 2024.
The veteran Badminton star also shed light on their commitment in parenting: “Of course, Deepika does a lot more, but Ranveer helps a lot whenever he’s not working. Both families are also present to help,” said the sporting Legend.
For the 70-year-old badminton expert, watching her granddaughter grow has been a wealth of experience. He accepted that during his peak playing time, he missed out on the day-to-day upbringing of his daughters, Deepika and Anisha.
“As a parent, I don’t remember having brought up our kids or being involved as much because I was hardly home. I do remember important things, but the day-to-day was missed. Now I notice every little change. Almost every day, there’s something new,” he said.

Every grandparent had a wish to give every bit of life to their grandchildren; Prakash Padukone and his wife Ujjala are determined to give Dua a slice of normal life even though she is the daughter of famous Bollywood actors. Whenever they visit them in Bengaluru, both grandparents take their granddaughter Dua out for metro and auto rickshaw rides and take her to parks and other public places.
