Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar is one of those films that instantly feels familiar. It is about friendship, old crushes, missed chances, and that one person from school you never quite stopped thinking about. The Hindi comedy-romance releases in theatres on October 23, 2026.
The biggest talking point is its cast. Instead of big established stars, the film introduces six newcomers: Alisha Chopra, Sparsh Walia, Sakshi Vaidya, Kunal Aryan Vaid, Sargun Kaur Luthra, and Tushar Chhibber. All six are making their big-screen debut together, which gives the movie a fresh and exciting feel.
The story follows a group of close friends who meet again years after finishing school. On the surface, it is just a reunion. But as expected, things get complicated very quickly. Old feelings return, crushes resurface, misunderstandings begin, and everyone tries to look like they have their love life under control.
The film explores modern relationships in a very relatable way. There are situationships, mixed signals, overthinking, jealousy, awkward texts, and the eternal question: should you say what you really feel or keep pretending you do not care? Honestly, most of us have been there.
More About Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar
Luv Films produced the film, and Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg produced it. Anuj Saini directed it, while Luv Ranjan, Anuj Saini, and Jehan Handa wrote the story. So yes, if you like movies full of friendly teasing, relationship confusion, and sharp one-liners, this one seems made for you.
Luv Ranjan’s involvement also makes the film worth noticing. He is known for making stories around friendships and relationships, often with humour that feels uncomfortable because it is too real. With this film, he is also giving six new actors a proper launchpad.
