Hey there, Punjabi cinema fans! If you’ve been waiting for a film that truly feels like home, Mitti de Putt might just be the one. Releasing in theaters today, September 18, 2026, this action-drama is already sparking conversations, and trust us, it’s for all the right reasons.
Helmed by director R Malkana, the movie stars Dev Kharoud and Vikramjeet Virk in pivotal roles, with supporting performances by Sharan Kaur, Yograj Singh, and Mahabir Bhullar. Produced by Zora Studios and NewWave Studios, and distributed by Dharma Productions for a pan-India release, the film brings together a team that knows how to tell a story with heart.
So, what’s the story about? Imagine two villages, two families, and a feud that’s been simmering for generations over land, power, and revenge. Sounds intense, right? But here’s the twist: amidst all the chaos, there’s a chance for peace, brought about by water, relationships, and the hope that the next generation can break the cycle. It’s a tale of a young man trying to honor his roots while fighting for what’s right.
