The Lust Stories franchise is returning with another set of emotional, complicated, and deeply personal stories. Lust Stories 3 brings together four short films, each directed by a different filmmaker, offering a fresh look at love, desire, intimacy and modern relationships.
Unlike a regular film with one continuous plot, this anthology presents four separate stories. Each segment has its own characters, mood, and way of exploring relationships. While the stories are not connected, they all focus on the emotions and complications that people often experience in their personal lives.
The four segments have been directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra, and Vishal Bhardwaj. With such different filmmaking styles coming together, viewers can expect every story to have its own distinct flavour. Some moments may feel emotional, some awkward, while others could be intense or even humorous.
Lust Stories 3 Cast and Segments
The cast of Lust Stories 3 includes several popular names from Hindi cinema. Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Vijay Varma and Abhishek Banerjee feature in Vikramaditya Motwane’s segment. Shakun Batra’s story stars Ali Fazal and Radhika Madan.
Kiran Rao’s segment features Gurfateh Pirzada and Sana Thampi, while Vishal Bhardwaj’s story brings Siddharth and Aditi Rao Hydari together. The ensemble also includes actors known for choosing interesting and unconventional roles.
The anthology explores themes such as attraction, emotional vulnerability, marriage, intimacy, and the things people often keep hidden in relationships. Instead of showing love as perfect, the film appears to focus on its messy, confusing, and sometimes uncomfortable side.
The trailer has already created curiosity among viewers with its mix of unusual situations, complicated emotions, and relationship drama. It also gives a glimpse of four different worlds, making it clear that the film will not follow one central storyline.
Lust Stories 3 is a Hindi-language anthology film produced by RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. It is scheduled to premiere on September 18, 2026.
