Shraddha Kapoor‘s much-anticipated upcoming movie Eetha teaser is out now. Her Lavani performance impressed everyone who watched it. The boldness Shraddha carries in the role she played, the character of Maharashtrian folk artist Vithabai Bahu Mang Narayangaonkar.
Eetha Teaser Breakdown
Eetha teaser opens with a crowd of people acclimating to the name of ‘Eetha Bai’, only to see her performances of Lavani people gather in a sea of faces. Shraddha’s character appears in a distress situation, preparing a stage performance while heavily pregnant.
Giving birth backstage, while the crowd chants her name, she chooses to stand to perform Lavani for the people. Despite being warranted by her life-threatening risks, she refuses to back down and avers that dying while performing would leave a lasting legacy, rather than being remembered as helpless.

She says it with such possession, “Padi padi mari toh bechari kehlaungi, naachte nacchte mari toh misaal ban jaaungi”. Shraddha’s performance in Lavani and the character she played in Eetha will leave a lasting impact on everyone who watched and will ultimately be a turning point for her career.

The Laxman Utekar-directed Eetha will be released in theaters worldwide on August 28, 2026. The title ‘Eetha’ is originally derived from the name ‘Vitha’ associated with Vithabai Narayangaonkar.
