Vijay Salgaonkar is back, and this time the story reaches its final chapter. Drishyam: The Conclusion, popularly called Drishyam 3, brings Ajay Devgn’s quiet, sharp-witted family man face-to-face with the consequences he has spent years outrunning. The film released in theatres on October 2, 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti.
The cast remains one of the film’s biggest strengths. Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu as Meera Deshmukh, Shriya Saran as Nandini, Jaideep Ahlawat as SP Rajveer Singh Tomar, and Rajat Kapoor as Mahesh Deshmukh. Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Kamlesh Sawant, and Saurabh Shukla complete the ensemble.
For fans, the appeal is simple: Vijay’s calm face hiding a brilliant mind, Meera’s grief turning into relentless pursuit, and a family once again caught in a dangerous web.
More About Drishyam 3
Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the crime thriller is produced by Panorama Studios and Star Studio18. Unlike the earlier Drishyam films, this instalment does not follow the Malayalam original. It tells an original story while continuing directly from the events of Drishyam 2.
The film was shot mainly in Mumbai and Goa between December 2025 and June 2026, with music by Ravi Basrur, Rochak Kohli, and Karma.
Critics have responded positively to the film, and audiences who loved the first two parts are calling it an emotional and tense farewell to one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic thriller franchises.
