The story follows the life of Babita Singh. It is set against the backdrop of a small town. As the story begins, it unfolds the life of suspended police officer Babita. She is tangled in her own life and faces unspoken dullness in her married life. After her suspension, she visits her in-laws in another town. In between this, she meets with her old school friend, who comes to take her.
The story takes a drastic turn when she gets to know that his friend was murdered the next day. Babita is shocked by the murder of one of his childhood friends. All of her time in the police force was taken for granted, and she believed that she was an underestimated cop. But his friend’s murder opens up the way to uncover the truth. She found herself torn between uncovering the truth in a murder investigation and the hidden lies in her own marriage.
