Toxic Box Office Collection Day 2: Yash Film Crosses ₹120 Cr Mark

Filmy Chamber

Yash’s action drama Toxic officially entered the domestic ₹100 crore club within two days of release.

The film saw a sharp Thursday drop, pulling in around ₹19.73 crore net by evening after its huge opener.

Lukewarm critical reviews, online memes, and stiff competition from Dhurandhar 2 contributed to the mid-week slowdown.

Overall domestic theatre occupancy fell to roughly 24% across over 19,000 tracked shows nationwide.

The Hindi belt continued to drive the major share of collections, staying ahead of the original Kannada version.

Telugu markets held relatively steady, while the Tamil and Malayalam versions saw modest footfalls.

The movie had previously exploded on Day 1 with ₹101.10 crore net in India and ₹140 crore worldwide gross.

Trade experts are now watching closely to see if the big-budget actioner can rebound over the upcoming weekend.
